The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's greatest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a stoppage in rounds four or five and asserted he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it emphasized just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
